Our College Library was started along with the founding of the institution in 1977. The library of the college aims at developing a comprehensive collection of materials in the various streams of the college like Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Social Science and Science and Technology, giving vital support to teaching and research in the college. The library has grown over the years to be one of the best college libraries in the Mangalore city. The library operation is partially automated with Easy lib standard version Library Management System. The library holds a wealth of material which includes over 45,000 books and print and electronic journals. The library has incorporated newer dimensions to help students in acquiring excellence in their curricular and co-curricular pursuits.
The Library is spacious with a seating capacity of more than 200 includingwithboth UG and PG library. The Library has WIFI connectivity which enables the users to use their own Laptops within the campus. The PG library has a collection of more than three thousand books and subscribes to various electronic resources through Institutional memberships. More than 6000+ e journals and 30,000+ e books can be accessed under The Project entitled “National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content (N-LIST)” of INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad.
Library has initiated its Institutional Repository using DSPACE an Open Source Software. E contents like Lecture Notes, Student Project Reports, Question Papers , Theses, Publications by faculty and students, College Magazines, Newsletters, E books, In house journal etc. are added to the repository and access is provided within the campus between 9 am to 5 p.m.
We provide Library services to Faculty, Students, Non- teaching Staff, old Students and staff of our sister concerns. We follow Dewey decimal classification system.

Monday to Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M
Saturday from 8.30 A.M. to 1.30 P.M.
Library will be kept closed on all Sundays and Govt. holidays.
Any changes in timings are intimated through the Library Notice Board.
Library borrowing facility
Students are entitled to borrow 2 books at a time. The loan period is 7 days for students. In case of exigency, books will be called back from all users. Return on the same day of issue is not allowed.
Books issued need to be checked for their condition before leaving the Issue counter. If you find any damage to the book, kindly bring it to the notice of the Library staff. Marking, Writing, and folding pages are considered as damage to the book.
